Genealogy

Here at the Conrad Public Library, we have our very own genealogy room. Located on the south side of the children's section is the Helen Gallentine genealogy room. Our library and very own genealogy room are known for the extensive research that is done at our library. We were very fortunate enough to be the recipient of much of Helen Gallentine's research when it was donated to the library.

Our genealogy room contains many different resources. Here are just a few things that you can find in the Helen Gallentine genealogy room.

- Plat books

- High school yearbooks

- Cemetary records

- Family histories

- Past newspapers from surrounding publishers

- Federal Census

- Passenger and Immigrant lists

This room is often used by the public when partaking in research. Feel free to stop in and check out our genealogy room!

Do you do research and don't live close to Conrad or don't have time to stop in? Give us a call or shoot us an email regarding your research and what you are looking for and we can try our best to help!
