Fax, Print, & More

Several general office services are provided to the public at Conrad Public Library.

Fax

Incoming:  No charge for fax recieved to the Conrad Public Library faxline 641-366-3105.  Please let the library staff know you are expecting a fax.  Any materials not picked up within 30 days of reception will be destoyed.

Outgoing: Charges of $1.00 per page for domestic and $4.00 per page for international transmission apply to outgoing faxes.

Fax Machine Policy

Print & Copy

Print or Copy Black & White: Changes of $0.10 per page apply to all items printed or copied in black & white.  Copy paper in letter, legal, and tabloid sizes are available.  Patrons may supply their own paper, but the change remains the same. 

Print  or Copy Color:  Changes of $1.00 per page apply to all items printed or copied in color.  Copy paper in letter, legal, and tabloid sizes are available.  Patrons may supply their own paper, but the change remains the same.

Charges apply to all pages.  If you are unsure of printer color settings or do not need an entire document (are printing from a website) ask staff for help proir to sumbitting item to printer.

Photocopy Machine Policy

Microfilm

The public may use the microfilm reader upon request.  Microfilmed documents can be printed from the reader in Black & White at charge of $0.10 per page.  All paper for microfilm printing is standard letter size and supplied by the library.

Scan

No charge for scanning items.  Library staff can scan items for patrons up to 17" X 12" for delivery as a .jpeg, .pdf, or .tiff file.  All scanned items will be delivered as digital files to the parton's supplied email address.  For information regarding printing of scanned files, see above.

Shred

No charge for shredding documents.  Any documents contatining sensitive information that are unclaimed or unpaid will be destroyed by shredding.  Documents printed, copied, or faxed at the library maybe shedded at paton request.

Telephone

A telephone for public use is available at the library.  Local calls only (no long distatance) are allowed and patrons must ask at the library desk to use the phone.  Please keep calls a breif as possible to allow the line to remain open for incomming calls.
