Library Card
A Conrad Public Library card us your ticket to a wide range of FREE library services!
Your card enables you to checkout items from all our circulating collections. These include books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games, puppets, cake pans, and much more. Conrad Public Library participates in the Iowa Library Open Access program so you do not need to live in Conrad to receive a library card.
You do need to be an Iowa resident, complete the application form, present a photo ID, and have proof of current address to obtain a library card. The application form is available by clicking on the "Library Card Application" file link below. If you meet the residency requirements for Interlibrary Loan, Hoopla Digital, and Bridges Overdrive services, those can also be accessed with your library card.
The is plenty to do at the library even if you don't have a card. All of our collections can be viewed on site, including those that do not circulate like newspapers and genealogy research items. Wi-fi, computers, scanning, and internet service are provided to the public free of charge. Printing, faxing, and coping services are also available to everyone for a small fee. We often have withdrawn and donated items for sale to the public as well.
