Summer Library Program

Each year from early June to early August the Conrad Public Library puts on our Summer Library Program. During this program there are many things going on in the library! We have our Bingo competition various programs, and fun activities that all align with the chosen theme for each year. Below is a description of each aspect of our Summer Library Program.

    - Bingo competition

Our bingo competition is for all ages! Each year every reader registers for the program and in return they get their bingo sheet. The bingo sheet consists of things the reader must do. It can range from reading any kind of book, to a graphic novel, or even attending a library program! Once the reader completes a bingo, they get a prize and then for every blackout after that the reader gets a prize! The bingo competition is split into age groups: preschool to kindergarten, 1-4, 5-12, and adult!

     - Various programs

Each year to go along with the Summer Library Program theme the library director and staff schedules program to go with the theme of the program. These programs can vary in what to expect. Some are done by presenters with an educational purpose, some are also fun activities with different presenters, and some can be programs that the library staff puts together. You can find the schedule to the programs on each months Newsletter or on our events calendar on our website!

      - Fun activities

Each week we have crafts planned that go along with the theme that is chosen. We have an "in-house" craft and craft kits that are available each week. The "in-house" craft is the craft that is prepped and ready for you to do when you visit the library. The craft kits are a different craft that you are able to take home with all the supplies and directions that you will need. The craft kids come in easy and advanced.
